Step 1

Please note:
If you are using Outlook 2010, you may find this here:

  3. Click Import

Step 2

Choose export to a file.

Step 3

Choose comma separated values (Windows).

Step 4

Select the appropriate notes-folder (works only with notes) from your folders list.

Step 5

Important!
Then click on “Map Custom Fields…” in the upper right corner.

Step 6

This step is very important, read carefully!
On the Map Custom Fields screen, drag and drop values so that there are only two values remaining in the right panel.
Also the order is very important: first Priority then, below that, Note Body, as shown in the screenshot below.

Press OK.

2. Put the file on the sdcard of your android device

Connect your device to your computer, mount your sdcard, copy the above created file to it.
Unmout your sdcard and disconnect your device from computer.
Maybe refer to the users manual of your device for further information.

3. Import the notes to Note Everything

Open Note Everything
Press menu and select “Import”
Choose “Import from Outlook notes” (important!)
Scroll through the file-list of your sdcard to the created file and tap on it.

4. Finished

It should have imported your notes.
Note Everything should have imported the notes to folders according to the priorities in Outlook.
So you get folders named like “Normal”.
So press menu, choose “Select folder” and look for the new folders and maybe rename them by tapping and holding on the folder.

Please note: If you can’t read your notes correctly for example special characters aren’t displayed correctly, you have to convert the csv file to UTF-8 encoding. Please search the internet for an encoder, there are several.
